Writing Question

You will write a 5 -page paper on the social system theory. Your paper should include:

1. Identify the theory as it relates to community systems.
2. A summary or definition of the theory.
3. The propositions or basic principles of the theory.
4. Definitions of key terms and concepts.
5. The challenges and strengths of the theory’s application.
6. How your assigned theory might be useful (or not useful) for social work practitioners.

You may use the text as a resource. However, you must use at least 3 other sources, two of which must be a research article from a refereed journal. The possible theory and concept assignments may include: Social Systems, Human Ecology, Social-Psychological, Structural, Functionalist, Conflict, Symbolic Interaction, and Empowerment
