I’m working on a statistics project and need a reference to help me learn.

Is Shyness Negatively Associated with Self-Esteem? Is there a Gender Difference?

Background:  Research shows that although there are exceptions, shyer people tend to evaluate themselves more negatively than less shy people.  Is this relationship similar for each gender group?  I chose this topic because it is nonexperimental, not difficult to measure, statistical analysis will be straightforward, and because it’s interesting.   

What to do right away:  In class we discussed how to create a questionnaire packet in google forms.The order should be title, informed consent screen, each scale on a separate screen, and the debriefing statement.We discussed the importance of numbering each scale question (always starting with “1”) and numbering each response option, e.g., (1) Strongly disagree, (2) disagree, etc.
