This assignment involves groups answering questions on two of the following four previous Work System snapshots.

Please use the following work system scenarios: (Scenario #1)

• Domino’s Pizza

AND please use the following work system scenarios: (Scenario #2)

• Uber Eats

For each of the TWO work system scenarios selected:

1. Describe the nature of the product/service offered along the dimensions of:
   • information vs. physical
   • service vs. product
   • commodity vs. customized
2. For each scenario, identify and briefly describe what organizations would typically be part of the work system’s upstream supply supply chain.
3. For each scenario, and in the context of the scenario, describe the basis on which customers determine the value provided. (Be specific to the scenario).
4. For each scenario, and in the context of the scenario, pick two process performance variables and describe what is being measured in the context of the variable. How is the process improved? (I.e. does the variable have to increase or decrease)? (Please do not choose the same two for each scenario).
5. If you are looking for opportunities for change that would improve the overall output of the work system, identify three possibilities for change involving work system participants. How would this influence overall output of the work system? Answer in the context of each work system scenario.
6. If you are looking for opportunities for change that would improve the overall output of the work system, identify three possibilities for change involving information the work system uses. How would this influence overall output of the work system? Answer in the context of each work system scenario.
7. If you are looking for opportunities for change that would improve the overall output of the work system, identify three possibilities for change involving technology the work system uses. How would this influence overall output of the work system? Answer in the context of each work system scenario.
8. For each of your two work system scenarios, can you cite a specific opportunity for change in any of the contextual (environment, infrastructure, strategy) elements of the work system framework? Be specific to the scenario.

Submission Details:

1. Please answer all questions for scenario #1, followed by all questions for scenario #2. (Points deducted for not following these instructions).
2. Please submit a single file of type DOC or PDF format. Use letter sized paper, not legal or anything else. Please answer all eight questions for Work System scenario #1 first, followed by the eight questions for work system scenario #2. Clearly label each scenario and the eight questions.
3. In your submission, please include the question number and include the text of the question you are about to answer.
