You are a new parent who will be returning to full-time employment. In your preparation, you must decide what to do for child care. Consider all of your options, including informal and formal child care arrangements.

• Next, research the various options and determine the pros and cons of each. Be sure to evaluate the effect that each arrangement may have on development.
• Then, evaluate the quality of care provided by each arrangement and decide which option would be best for you and your family and why.
