WCU Argumentative Essay Outline

Description

TOPIC

I’m considering to write my argumentative essay about legalization of marijuana. Even though the support for legalization of marijuana has been increasing over the past years, which allowed more states to pass legislatures in favor of medical or recreational use, it is still classified as schedule 1 drug according to DEA. This places marijuana on top of federal government’s drugs list, above cocaine and fentanyl. Currently, certain religious and conservative groups also argue against nationwide legalization of marijuana. I argue that we as a nation should fully legalize marijuana in order to prevent the burden on our criminal justice system and increase government’s revenue.
