Choose one of the sugar factory dust/coal factory/grain elevator dust explosions and research the specifics about your explosion. Then role-play as if you were the safety manager for that company. Write a letter to the family of one of the injured workers explaining what happened. Be sure to explain what happened (or could have happened if an exact cause has not been revealed) in terms of reaction rates, surface area, and what was studied in this module.
