What is privacy?

• What are some distinctions between privacy and privacy laws?
• How should they be upheld by the criminal justice system?
• How can you improve the expectation of privacy? Explain. 

These are 2 different student posts. You must respond by stating facts or opinions.respond to these with 100 words each so 200 words together.

1)
Privacy is your space and something that you would call your own, it could be your car, house, the clothes you own, even your cell phone. Privacy is also your personal space. The distinctions between privacy and privacy laws is privacy is dealing with your personal space and out of the public, while privacy laws is dealing with information and data, things such as your ID, social security, credit cards ect… Privacy you would need a search warrant or reason to search where as privacy laws falls under public information. Privacy laws should be upheld by the criminal justice system through search warrants or probable cause, as well as signing of the individual who the privacy laws is containing to. You can improve the expectation of privacy by breaking down the difference. Privacy can be explained in multiple ways such as space and out of the public, or simply something that is your personally. Privacy can also mean your personal data, things like emails, bank information, Identification and more. To explain it better in my opinion would be to separate the two and put them in their own category including the laws that surround them.

2)There are several different ways to take in the meaning of the word privacy. Privacy to me specifically is my own free time of no interruption. My right, my personal choices, and my freedom of decisions. Privacy is personal information or personal identifiable details regarding an individual person. Confidential information about someone that is specifically restricted from the public’s use. The distinction between privacy and privacy law, privacy for example is my alone time, time to myself to do as I please in peace such as taking a shower or using the restroom with no disruption. Privacy laws, on the other hand, an example would be being employed in a doctors offices which holds confidential person information of patients. As we all know, HIPPA is very important to understand and follow when working in healthcare or anywhere where you have access to peoples privacy. Breaking these rules, going around telling someones business of whats been access can actually get you terminated from a job. Ways that can cause improvement of privacy is by abiding by all required procedures legally.
