University of Washington Intercultural Relationship Discussion

Part 1 of 2 (Due Wednesday): Support your response with evidence from the course readings and cite your source(s) in APA.

1. What is the role of turning points in the development of an intercultural relationship?
2. How might an interracial couples be affected by the society in which they live?
3. Reflect on a relationship you have with someone from a culture that is different than your own. Then, using concepts from our textbook, summarize how cultural differences influenced this relationship. If you do not have an established intercultural relationship, introduce yourself to someone from another culture in an attempt to establish a conversation and describe any challenges with the intercultural communication you experience.
