– Some guests do not understand the need for hotel managers to adjust room rates to meet forecasted demand (Revenue Management). How would you respond to a guest who complained about paying more than the average room rate in a night all the hotels in your area are forecasted to be sold out?

– Some hoteliers feel that room attendants must be able to fluently speak the language of the majority of the hotel’s guests to do their job effectively. If the hotel were in the United States, would you require room attendants to be fluent in English? Why?
