Read an article in the Income Inequality section of week 9 and answer the following questions: There is talk about the growing gap between rich and poor. What are some of the most visible manifestations of this gap? How has the income gap worsened over time (look for information on this online – the articles posted on the course site cannot be used as examples)? What are the most common stereotypes about people at the lower end of the economic scale? Think back to when you attended orientation at your site, is the site necessary because of socioeconomics?  In what ways does your site challenge or address socioeconomic stereotypes?
