Description
Students will complete an AARP Walk Audit of a neighborhood of their choosing to assess how age- and pedestrian-friendly the community is, then write a summary of their findings. The Neighborhood Walkability Assessment must use a 12-point, Times New Roman font, double-spaced format, and one-inch margins on each side, and consult the grading rubric on Blackboard for guidance. Refer to the AARP Walk Audit Tool Kit for instructions on how to complete the assessment. Your submission should also include the Walk Audit Road Map, Community Walk Audit Worksheet, and Who’s Using the Street Worksheet, which is attached here.
