Explore the website of the company you are developing a Marketing Plan to launch a new product or service. AFTER REVIEWING the definition of Public Relations and what we covered in class, look for the News section (what it is generally called) on the website and look for a press release its Public Relations Dept has sent out to the news media. Provide that link. Then do a search to discover what/or if the news has been picked up by a news outlet. Provide one link of where that information has been picked up.

Now, look at the news your company sent. Did what it sent get picked up and translated the way the company want it to be? (Remember the Apple example in class if you need an example to help you)

Please provide at a minimum a 200 word analysis of what you found applying the SEMDR model (Pg 396) provided within the example of Apple in the PDF. After you do this, reflect on what you learned as a result of this activity relative to your upcoming Marketing Plan and how you’ll address the Public Relations section of it.
