Thesis Statement: It was a great pleasure to perform research on different Naked and Nude art works from the Art Institute of Chicago. Featuring the nude sculpture, Celestial Beauty (Apsara) which originated in Madhya Pradesh, India, that belongs to the 12th century; the analysis will frame the past history of this sculpture and dominance of other contemporary significance. The beauty of the artwork which is framed in 50.6 x 19.7 x 11.8 cm sandstone sculpture will be reflected on the analysis performed. The explanation of what are Apsaras, origination of Apsara, the dominance and impact of correlated entities and roles played by apsara in the society are significant points of interest.
