TOPIC: POLICE BRUTALITY AGAINST MINORITY

For this discussion, you will create a visual that demonstrates the intersection of these three in your capstone project. For instance, you might create a pie chart or a table or an illustration. Upload your visual along with an explanation of how each supports reform in your initial post.

Please read: This is a critical portion of the pre-work for what will become your final capstone project. Now that you have brainstormed the topic and it’s components, how will theory fit in? What specific theory or theories help to explain your social justice issue or problem? What court cases inform your topic? Are policies already in place that address the problem? Are they effective policies? If not, what policy changes are in order?

Please think deeply and critically as to how you will incorporate these three components: criminological theories, constitutional law, and policies.

PART 2

TOPIC: POLICE BRUTALITY AGAINST MINORITY

By now your capstone project should be coming together. To prepare for your meeting with your instructor, you will create and submit a detailed outline of your project and the progress you have made to date.

This outline should include relevant criminological theories, criminal justice policies and constitutional law considerations. Do not just submit the visual you created in the discussion forum. Instead, you must provide a clear explanation of these three components and how each supports your project and ultimate solution for reform.

Note: I WILL SUBMIT A SAMPLE AS A GUIDE TO ASSIST WITH PART 2. IT IS ONLY A GUIDE BECAUSE IT IS A DIFFERENT TOPIC JUST A OUTLINE. PLEASE USE THIS EXACT OUTLINE WITH THE 5 PLO’S OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND THE 3 PILLARS OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE.
