Here is a breakdown of the assignment.

1. Select a topic. Review the topics covered in Modules 4-8 of Lumen Waymaker. Select one very specific topic.

2. Review the Lumen Waymaker section on your topic.

3. Find 2 outside sources about your topic. Be sure the sources are credible. Avoid Wikipedia, blogs, opinion pieces.

4. The title of the paper should state the specific topic.

5. Page one of the paper should be a summary of the facts about your topic. Use the 2 sources to provide information about the topic. These must be cited properly within text and look like this, (Corbett, 2020). Be sure to avoid stating your opinion on page one. This must be one complete page to receive full credit. Avoid providing more than one page (you can go over just a bit). It is harder to write less than more.

6. Page two is the analysis and opinion section. Here, the facts from page one are used to draw conclusions about the topic. Do you agree or disagree and why? What are the strengths and weaknesses? What has yet to be considered? What other factors could affect development? All of these questions do not have to be answered, these are just guiding questions to develop page 2. Again, a minimum of one full page is needed for full credit. Keep this to one page (you can go over just a bit).

7. The paper should end with a conclusion that summarizes the facts and the key opinion points. This should also include what further research should be done on the topic. This is part of page 2.
