UCLA Onions Presentation

This assignment concerns the following reading: Lord of the Rings: The Journey of an Indian Onion you are an employee for a consulting company and US citizen. You are in charge of a project with the Indian government as your client. Onions are a key staple in India. Price fluctuations have toppled governments. The amount of waste has reached intolerable levels. The government wants a better way to go from field to table for onions grown in India. The current process, as detailed in the paper, needs to be reformed. They want to know (1) is there a better process for onions to go from food to table and (2) how to get Indians to adopt the new process.

There are three deliverables to this assignment:

1. One PowerPoint slide showing the current process
2. One PowerPoint slide showing the new process and how Indians can adopt the new process
3. One PowerPoint slide describing the teams needed to carry out the execution of moving to the new process and a list of issues to be addressed since the Indian government expects at least one Indian team to be involved in the consulting work and execution work.
