The written paper should be accompanied by a detailed network security devices and appliances diagram for the described and recommended design. The network security devices and appliances should be incorporated using the diagram developed in Course Project Assignment 4. [Week 10]
Course Project Assignment 6: Course Paper
Create a final APA-compliant course paper of 15 to 20 pages (3750 to 5000 words), not including title page and references, that combines and integrates the previous five assignments (Course Project Assignments 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5), updated with mentor feedback as necessary, plus a 3-to-5-page section (750 to 1250 words) describing the recommended risk management process to facilitate decisions on proper mitigation techniques, security policies that should be in place, methods to protect sensitive data, management solutions to remotely manage network and mobile devices, data center power management and environmental monitoring to prevent unplanned outages, and tools that be will be implemented to monitor the condition of the network. The description will include the purpose of each recommendation as well as the different risks that will be mitigated by implementing these solutions and best practices. Additionally, the paper will be accompanied with a detailed topology diagram of the proposed final network design (e.g., LAN, WLAN, WAN, and remote access design including network security devices and appliances).
