I’m looking for a c. 10-page, double-spaced final paper (c. 2500 words or more) that a) lays out the “issue” at hand; b) describes the local specifics of said issue (if not covered by “a”) and provides specific data on said issue from scholarship; c) sketches out an intervention or support plan, grounded in your research, that provides detailed guidance on who should be doing what to address your issue to (d) achieve a realistic outcome. You are required to include at least 1 pieces of scholarship per BSLS minor discipline, and at least 4 total. This case study should follow a style (such as MLA, APA, or Chicago) used in one of your minors in the BSLS. This write-up is your final paper and can/should incorporate feedback by your peers. Your scholarly sources do not have to be (and probably will not be) specific to your “local” issue but I expect you to argue that and how the scholarship applies, if the connection is not immediately clear.

Topic #1: “Suicide Prevention utilizing Chaplain Aid”

This topic will talk about how Chaplain can assist those going through suicidal thoughts. I may talk about civilians to veterans. I will also interpret how my 3 minors (Military science minor, Religious studies minor, and Sociology minor) can fit into this case scenario of a chaplain job opportunity.
