Part 1 

Please complete a SWOT analysis of Walsh College.  Use the college website as well as other outside sources and list at least 3 items per quadrant (3 strengths, 3 weaknesses, etc.) Short phrases or bullets are fine.  You may use a template you find on the Internet. This may be a one-page document, or 4 separate pages (up to you).

Part 2

Assume that Walsh is interested in adding a new concentration to the BBA: that of a specialization in digital currency and blockchain processing.  Create a Porter’s Five Forces model that is based upon research (of other academic institutions, the possible job market, etc.) to determine whether this might be a good addition to the BBA.  This may be a one-page diagram with short bullets/phrases, or you may create one page per “Force.” Make sure you rank each Force as high, medium, or low and provide at least two supporting bullets per Force. At the bottom of the Porter’s model, put one sentence as to whether you think it is a viable addition.

You aren’t expected to understand crypto or blockchains, but research enough to find out if (hint) other colleges are offering it, job boards are looking for people, whether there is general interest in crypto and who is interested, etc.  Consider that you need to look at it from a buyer’s perspective (i.e., prospective students), suppliers (professors and textbook companies), current competitor’s perspectives, threat of substitutes, and threat of new entrants.  Include a references page with at least 5 good outside references, listed in proper APA format.
