– Research country-specific information pertaining to crime and criminal justice. The topics must cover crime (e.g., crime and delinquency, victimization, policing, et al.) or others (e.g., domestic violence, terrorism, drug trafficking, etc.).

The brief can focus on either one of these options: 

1) one topic for one country (e.g., domestic violence in India)

2) multiple topics for one country (e.g., policing and prison reform in England)

3) one topic for multiple countries (death penalty in Japan and Australia).
 

 You are allowed to write about any other type of crime in Lebanon if you choose that country, but it just can not be drug trafficking. You are still open to writing about drug trafficking in any other country if you choose to write about drug trafficking.
