Review an organizational policy that supports or needs to be revised based on their practice improvement project. 

Seek out county, state, or federal regulations and laws that influence or require the selected policy. 

• Analyze the organizational policy, governmental regulations and laws, and the evidence from current literature supporting your proposed change.

Identify the strengths and gaps in this organizational policy.

Conclusion to Paper

My paper will focus on the central line maintenance policy. The attached file is the policy from a hospital and the policy does not incorporate ‘disinfection caps’ or ‘antiseptic impregnated caps’. However, CDC and AHRQ (clabsitoolsap3) guidelines recommended using disinfection caps. So this paper is to compare the hospital policy with state/federal guidelines and be able to make the change. The change will be to incorporate disinfection caps in the care bundle of central lines. Please use at least 5 nursing journal articles for this paper. Please let me know if you need anything else.
