The videos that you will critique were created by Donut Operator, a YouTube personality with over 2 million followers and a net worth of $1.3 million. He is a former police officer and SWAT team member, and covers the latest news regarding police activity in the United States. He is a pro-gun conservative that also served as a writer for the police advocacy group, Blue Lives Matter. Now, let me be very clear here…I am not trying to promote the trolling of this guy’s channel, nor am I trying to disprove his videos or encourage the harassment of him, his community, or his family. He is a normal human person with a family, just living the life that he wants to live. No need for shade or hate.

Go to his channel and select ONE video of a police breakdown on a police shooting. He has several videos in which he critiques police shootings from the perspective of the police officers. I am a firm believer in seeing all sides of a story, so for this assignment:

research the incident in question with multiple reliable sources, watch out for fake news!
write a 1500 word or 3-page essay (typed/double spaced), offer your own critique of the incident AND that of the Donut Operator’s

complete a work cited page, 4 outside sources minimum (in addition to the video)
submit paper and work cited to the drop box by December 8th!
