  • Did you act as the Pursuer or Withdrawer in that interaction? 
    • If you’re not sure, take a look at the detailed “cycle” that lays out common behaviors and underlying emotions that pursuers and withdrawers experience when they fall into the cycle–do any of these resonate MORE with you in this particular experience?
  • Which behaviors & secondary emotions did you SHOW to the other person?
  • Which primary emotions were you likely feeling in that interaction? How do you think the interaction might have gone differently if you had shared these primary emotions, instead of showing and expressing your more secondary emotions?
