  1. Find two articles on your topic. You may use any of the Saddleback databases when conducting your search, however the 3 databases that most likely have scientific articles are Academic OneFile, Academic Search Premier and Proquest. The articles MUST be:

Check your links before you submit to make sure it is the full article when you are logged in, either through the Saddleback library database or just on the internet. Be sure to limit your searches to full text if it is an option in the Saddleback database so you do not see abstract only articles.  Access to the full text article helps you work toward full credit.

We have a LibGuide (Links to an external site.) set up specifically for this course to help with this research project. If you need additional help conducting your search, you can set up a one-on-one consultation with a librarian: https://sclibrary.wufoo.com/forms/library-consultation-request-form/ (Links to an external site.)

  1. Analyze your articles using the Article Evaluation worksheet (Links to an external site.) and record the score for each article. Turn in this completed worksheet; one tab for each article.
  2. Develop the Bibliography using APA formatting. Use these resources on the Saddleback website:

Include electronic links to the FULL articles as well as the Article Evaluation score for each. Watch the 3-min video below to learn the difference between DOIs and URL e-links to your articles.
