For this assignment, discuss the organization’s funding sources and later, research current state and federal policies that impact the agency’s funding. Community Empowerment relies on donations and money from well-wishers, volunteers, partners, and grants. In many cases, the CEC partners with local authorities in the city government, local entities, and the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) The state I live in is Arkansas. The agency offers a residential alternative to detention and provides rehabilitation and therapeutic services to the residents. Therapeutic services provided by the agency include group and individual counseling sessions. Other services offered by the agency include; vocational education training, health and wellness, mentorship, counseling, life planning skills, referrals for healthcare, tutoring, and transportation, among others. The agency makes it a priority to rehabilitate and improve the lives of youth who are found guilty of certain crimes. |
