This week, you have learned about the strategic role that training and development play within an organization. You have also learned the differences between training and development.
As an HR Director, you will prepare an executive summary for the executive board that discusses the differences between training and development. You will give three examples of training activities and three examples of developmental activities. You will discuss why each is different and how each can support an organization’s short-term and long-term objectives.
Support your assignment with at least three scholarly or professional resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including seminal articles, may be included.
Length: 3-5 pages, not including title or reference pages
References: Include a minimum of 5 scholarly resources.
Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
