For each of the three medieval Devil types mentioned toward the end of the lecture on H.P. Lovecraft’s short story, identify a character (e.g. villain, monster, etc.) who you think fits this archetype in terms of their appearance, behavior, etc., and briefly explain why they qualify. Examples must be drawn from an identifiable source, e.g. assigned reading for class, popular media, etc., and should not just repeat monster examples discussed in the Lovecraft slides.
