Different views are advanced on migration in general and immigration in particular. Several factors and their multifaceted interactions inform these views. Based on these views, immigration debates are advanced and immigration policies are developed. In this learning activity, you will be given the opportunity to asses a given factor in immigration debate, weigh the different arguments made for and against it, and then take your own stand on the issue. You will write a two-page essay identifying the immigration issue at hand, arguments made for and against it, and explaining your stand by providing your own arguments. You will support your stand with a logical argument and/or evidence.
