Description
1)Human beings are storytellers by nature. Growing up, we’ve heard them from parents, grandparents, we’ve heard some of them created, about us. They communicate who we are, what we value, and how we should live our lives. Some stories are bigger, others more mundane. But the most intriguing ones are always family myths. Tell us about a family myth that describes your family. What function does it serve for family members?
2)We all experience conflict from time to time. For my question this week, think of a conflict that you have recently experienced, and then analyze it by applying the five conflict processes and outcomes identified in Canary and Cupach’s Explanatory Model of Interpersonal Conflict.
3)Do you think men and women tell stories differently? Do you think people over generations have changed the way they tell stories?
