Semester Project:

You will have a semester project that will allow you to take what you have learned and apply it to a theoretical event. In this project I want you to plan a terrorist event. You need to detail the issues of how the event is to occur, what issues exist with logistics, financing, manpower, and include reasons for the target picked, how that relates to the goals of your organization, and an evaluation of the impact of the event both in, direct consequences including damages, loss of life, costs and any future impact that may occur and lastly an evaluation on the likely success for this event to occur showing your ability to determine the aforementioned issues as well as thinking through the desire and ability of local and federal law enforcement to impede your plans. This work will be 1000 words or more and should include scholarly support for your positions and perhaps details on resources (ie. Insurance tables for damages, cost of resources, access tools needed to accomplish your goal) used to accomplish this theoretical event.

By looking at the process of why you pick events, how you pick events, what is needed for them to happen, and where we can look to intervene as law enforcement it is my hope that you will have demonstrated a greater understanding of the application of the theoretical information learned in this course and be that much stronger in your ability to be one to protect our nation in the future.

Your submissions should present supporting information relevant to the topic (do not plagiarize, use in-text citations and references in APA style). You are expected to use APA 7th edition formatting for your submission, if you are unfamiliar with it, look it up. Each work should have at least four sources used in response. Homework is provided as a learning opportunity, the lack of sources to define, support, or contradict a submission position lacks academic value.
