Your task is to prepare a 5 minute speech to inform. This information can be about your job, a hobby, important medical news that you might wish to report on, or a famous person, for example. Appropriate topics are endless, however, all topics must be RELEVANT to a general audience! Speeches that demonstrate, explain, or inform the audience about the use of weapons or illegal activities or substances of ANY kind will NOT be accepted! • When selecting evidence be sure to use well-respected sources, document them using correct in-text APA citations, cite them verbally in the speech, and list them at the end of the outline in References.

1. Time Order – listing or describing steps of a process
2. Topic Order – describing types or natural divisions of a topic
3. Logical Reasons Order – providing reasons that support the topic
