The topic for Essay Four is open. It must be a topic on which you can write a persuasive essay. Choose something with multiple perspectives. Choose a topic that interests you. The topic MUST be different from the topic you chose for essay three.
Requirements for Essay Four: You must have an argument, something which you are trying to “prove.” Essay MUST include a counter-argument and/or an alternative perspective.
For Example: If your thesis states that college athletes should be paid, somewhere in the essay (where and how is your decision as the writer), you MUST explain/discuss why some people argue that college athletes should not be paid. You would give some reasons or state the main reason and then explain how/why that position/argument is incorrect or misguided or incomplete.
