JNTU Advance Behaviour of Steel Structure Worksheet

Description

Hello,

Please solve the below problem, this is Advance behaviour of steel structure subject and if needed you can use mathematical theories for solving problems – Please check attached PDF for diagram

Problem Statement

Consider the frame shown in the figure below supporting three 80ft spans and subject to vertical loads only. The frame consists of four simply supported composite plate girders at equal spacing. The total width of the deck is 36ft. Deck loading includes the weight of the concrete and steel plus 30psf flooring and 100psf live load. The compressive strength of concrete is 4ksi. All steel is Grade 50. Design and detail plate girders and columns, and report the total weight of the steel.

Use LRFD. See the syllabus for project report requirements.
