Good evening classmates,
Now on the recent websites, I saw I did not feel that the advertisements were invasive or anything like that. Most of them were relatively related to the website I was viewing and were very intriguing to maybe click on. There are also sometimes ads that can feel a bit like a scam or virus, but I did not feel like that was an issue for the websites. However, I would say maybe 2 or 3 of the websites had an ad that really did not fit with the actual website it was on. I think this is due to certain advertisements companies taking slight advantage of the algorithms that exist for the ads.
Byce acquired the source code through the proper means. He was an employee for the company where the source code existed. Due to these circumstances, he was already in the position for the source code through the proper means. There are not many times in this case where an employee would not have the proper means to access sources codes that have to do with their job.
Byce’s tactics could have been in good spirit with good intentions, but how things ended up was a bit unfair and unethical. He could have gone straight to Joel and talked about how he felt his position in the company was not fair. If he would have done this in a professional manner, then things would have turned out better than they did. This was a situation that never had to happen and could have been avoided.
