Maintenance Agreements provide a level of protection against risk for  any product or service.  Suppose you bought a television and also  bought the maintenance agreement for three years.  You would expect some  level of service and warranty based on that additional protection.

Instructions

1. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade. 
2. Read the Software License Agreement chapter in the textbook A Guide to IT Contracting: Checklists, Tools, and Techniques 2nd Edition.
3. Locate a Maintenance Agreement at work or online or use the example provided.
4. Critique that agreement against the checklist in  Chapter 8 to see how well the contract states what is needed.  Your  submission needs to provide a table in Word format that states the  checklist items from the textbook and your assessment of the contract  you found for each item on the checklist.  Did it meet it well and why?   Was it missing anything and what language would you provide?  Was the  language there but poorly written or confusing?
5. Cite the textbook and online Maintenance Agreement you chose in the Reference page of the Word document.
