Hudson County Community College Honesty Is Always the Best Policy Discussion Responses

Description

1-When it comes to looking for a new job, honesty is always the best policy. Finding out if everything on the application is real is critical since learning the truth after the individual has been employed creates a new set of issues for the employer, who must decide whether or not to terminate the employment arrangement. Yes, I would add AutoCad as a skill because, by the time I get the job, I’ll be skilled in it so its something good on the resume, and for the interviewer, it makes me look good to him and it’s better.

2-When it comes to looking for a new job, the most effective method is always to be completely honest with yourself. Conducting an inquiry into whether or not the information presented in a job application is accurate is required in order to make a determination. If this is not done, it creates a new set of issues for the employer, who must determine whether or not to terminate the employment agreement if it is found that the information provided in the application is erroneous. Failure to do so presents a new set of challenges for the employer. While it is important to be truthful in certain situations, if adding AutoCad to your CV would boost your chances of landing the job, go ahead but, also mention your commanding level on AutoCad.

3-Honesty is the key to your resume. Whatever you mention in your resume should be the truth. You can always update you resume with new skills that you acquire. I think it will be better to say that you are still currently learning AutoCAD, but you will be done by the time you start the job. Distorting the truth might make you lose the job when your employer discovers the truth. For example, if I want to apply as a Mechanical Engineer at ZT systems- part of the requirements is Creo or solid works skills. If I am currently learning how to use this software but I will be done by the time I start the job and I wrote it in my resume that I am skilled in it. It can later backfire for me later if the company later finds out the truth. It might also be that I might not be able to finish the course at the proposed time that I think it will be.
