I’m working on a engineering question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

A two-lane minor road stops at major road (major road does not stop). The major road has a design speed of 55 mph and all lanes are 12 ft wide. Left-turn, right-turn, and crossing movements are allowed at this intersection. Using the AASHTO method presented in class, determine the required sight distances along the major road to both the left and right for vehicles stopped on the minor road assuming the following characteristics of the vehicle and major roadway. Show the required sight triangles on a drawing (may be done by hand or in MS WORD).

1. Design vehicle: passenger car; Major Roadway: two lane undivided (25 points)

2. Design vehicle: single unit truck; Major Roadway: two lane undivided (25 points) 

3. Design vehicle: passenger car; Major Roadway: five lane undivided (25 points)

4. Design vehicle: single unit truck (30 ft); Major Roadway: four lane divided with 24 ft median (25

points)
