Our focus this week is separation and divorce. As you know from the Doherty text, mixed-agenda couples are quite common and one outcome may be separation and/or divorce. Helping couples navigate this challenging time is vitally important as the fall out from a contentious divorce affects a large circle of family and friends. What are some of the suggestions that the reading in Gurman presents? How does this dovetail with Doherty’s ideas? What will you do in your practice to assist couples facing this issue?
