Glendale Community College Literature Essay

Assignment Details

For this first project, rather than doing a research paper that gets boring, I would like you to write a short story that has the details listed below, but can be a story about anything you’d like. There has to be a beginning, a middle, and an end, but it can be as creative as you’d like. You can do it in poetry format, or in story format

What Do You Need to Have?!

Your story needs to have all of the following:

• A strong narrator
• At least one strong character must go throughout the story
• Must be in English
• Must connect to something that we’ve read so far
• Should have at least one musical reference (this can be your favorite song, or artist, etc.)

Requirements

• You need to turn in something in writing
  • If you are doing a story, then it needs to be at least two and a half pages
  • If you do a poem, then it needs to be as long as “Goblin Market”
• There are no other specific requirements other than there needs to be a beginning, a middle and an end
