Great job on this forum! Much of what you wrote is extremely data driven with good use of statistics and facts. Similar to you, I also used the US as an example of a developed nation. We shared similar statistics but one thing you included that I did not within my post was the connection to current events with Russia and Ukraine. I made the connection to GDP and the pandemic, but I think the connection you made with the war was crucial in explaining emissions and rankings of the present and the future. Unlike you, I focused my emerging and less developed countries on Brazil and Nigeria, so it was interesting to read about China and Bangladesh. One thing you could consider adding into your discussion was a more direct connection to how each country would react to future climate negotiations. For example, if the US, China, and Bangladesh were in climate negotiations with one another, do you think that the US and China would provide the aid to Bangladesh that it needs to continue to develop sustainably? Or another question, would the US and China agree to take incoming climate refugees from Bangladesh when the nation is underwater? Overall, awesome job!
