Create a Formal Outline for your body paragraphs.

A formal Outline is an ordered list of the visual main concepts, broken down into main topics. 

The outline includes a preliminary thesis statement. Place the preliminary thesis statement in the beginning of your outline. A thesis statement should be your own definition of a worldview based on your experience and understanding of what a worldview is.

List the major points in a form of the topic sentences that support your thesis. Your points should bring the reader on a logical journey from your thesis, through your supporting evidence, to your conclusion.

List supporting ideas for each major point.

If applicable, continue to sub-divide each supporting idea until your outline is fully developed.

I will post assignment 4.3 (The next step of this question) separately. I will assign this assignment and the next (4.3) to the same tutor since they are related to each other. This assignment will be making the outline, and the second assignment is when you write the actual paragraphs.

To write an outline you need to know what will be included in the body paragraphs. (Seven body paragraphs, 200 words each). Do not write anybody paragraphs for this assignment.

In your body paragraphs, you will write a story of your life, where you are the main character. Think about a setting/plot, a chronology of the main events, dialogue with yourself and the world, the main theme of your life, your belief system, and your identity. 

Ask yourself how everything listed above can define your identity (race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, religion, age, nationality).

When you work on a setting, plot, and chronology, you should describe your worldview based on epistemological, metaphysical…  all seven elements/views that you have been working on (Ken Funk’s article).

Review your journal entries and create an outline where you examine your major influences and what they taught you.
