Directions:
Search the online news outlets for 3 recent NEWS articles related to topics we have covered in lecture. The articles must have been published within the two months prior to your presentation date, and should be related to the previous week’s content.
STEP 1: Complete a 2 paragraph write-up of EACH article as follows: (5 points each, 15 points total)
List the title, news source, and author (if provided), as well as a direct link to the article;
Write 1 paragraph (~100 words) summarizing the article, and
Write 1 paragraph (~100 words) indicating how the article ties in to our class and/or your reflections/thoughts about it.
STEP 2: Submit a 5-minute recorded video of you “presenting” all these three articles and your reflections. (5 points)
The presentation should be informal; no powerpoints/slides. Imagine you are talking to a peer or family member about things you have heard are happening in the world.
You MAY use notes to guide your presentation, but do not read directly from your notes or you will not receive full credit for your presentation.
