How did Migration flows in Venezuela, specially internally, affect the relationship between neighboring countries and the United States?  How is the implementation of the TPS (Temporary Protection Status) aid Venezuelans in the US and what would happen if it were to be eliminated?

The traditional Special Topic Research Paper will be between 7 to 10 pages (not including the title page nor references). All written material must be printed in 12-point font (Times New Roman, Arial) and double- or 1½-spaced with page numbers at the bottom. Students need to provide full references for all literature cited, including those on this syllabus.

• Connect it to existing Migration Literature and Theories on this topic.
• Provide an Integrative Gender Approach with Valid/cited arguments:
  (1) macro-level: Systemic privileges and oppression in migration policies and humanitarian aid systems (the state), (2) micro-level: Women’s Autonomy and Decision-Making power (individuals), and (3) mesolevel: Social Legitimacy and exclusionary/inclusive perceptions (society). 
• Describe and Compare the interweaving Impact on Women and minority groups’ Mobility.
• Provide an Appropriate Analysis, Evaluation, Synthesis.
• Conclusions and Recommendations
