Topics covered in class:

– Chapter 11 Risk and return in Capital Markets,

– Chapter 12 synthetic risk and equity risk premium

– Chapter 15 debt

– Chapter 14 if IPOs are relevant
– Chapter 2 financial statements

2. Connect the
topics to current events (this must be a practical application of concepts, not a project on theory).

The topic we chose to focus on is Post-Covid vs. After-covid Market and stocks effect.

My part: SSE & SZSE Complex Index.

Proposal: For the stocks, we prepare to include pharmaceutical stocks: Sinovac (SHA: 688136), Changchun High& New Tech (000661. SZ). Because due to this severe pandemic, more and more people will focus on physical health. Also, relate to personal health, fitness, and athletic stocks, insurance company stocks attract our sights as well.

Structure:

Analysis of the past path of different stocks(need to analyze the performance of companies in the index individually.
Predict future development based on the past path in different markets.
