Description
Instructions: Reflect upon the readings and videos above regarding the correctional system, the Abu Ghraib Prison scandal, and the Zimbardo Prison Experiment. Imagine that you have been hired as a consultant to advise the U.S. military on how to safely and humanely house Iraqi inmates suspected of doing harm to American service personnel. Post your thoughts that detail the core principles that should be used to ensure that guards do not lose control and behave as those at Abu Ghraib and Stanford behaved.
Be sure that your post states a series of core principles and policies that will help ensure the fair and humane treatment of the prisoners. Your ideas should be informed by and make mention of the the videos and readings above.
