To meet the requirements, you will need to identify and articulate a company you are interested in, and you will need to provide a job description for a specific position opening. 

FINAL PROJECT DETAILS:

  1. Report outlining the hiring needs of the organization using course tools and concepts to build and support your logic.  Assumptions are necessary / encouraged, make sure you identify and provide a rationale for each assumption.  Make sure to mention sources of information to support key concepts.  As is outlined in the rubric, key elements include the following, each with a clearly identified section heading:
  • Introduction: provide a brief paragraph introduction to the company you are interested in and the job description for the open position you are considering for your project. Without this introduction, your overall project cannot be evaluated / graded.
  • Value Created for Customers: Clear identification of the value customers perceive for the product/service which the company provides
  • Value Creation Process: Articulation of the key process areas applied by the company to creating value that relate to the job opening
  • Possible Gaps – why are they hiring?: Articulation of hiring needs of the organization – what gaps may exist in the value creation process for the company that relate to the job opening
  • Interview Strategy, including candidate positioning concepts to address the needs identified in the above.  Make sure to state how you will construct and leverage your resume, your LinkedIn profile, etc
