In this forum you will write about how you see the societies of India, China, and Greece in what historian sometimes call the “Axial Age” or the “Classical Era”. The authors also share developments in the Celtic society that actually follows different patterns. We will e using the key terms or questions from the handout for Chapter 5

. You can also develop your own topics, based on the reading.

You can focus on one society, or you may want to compare the societies. You may also want to relate this to what we learned earlier about ancient Persia or other societies in the previous chapter. I also encourage you to bring in picture you find that could add to the discussion. If you start a thread, please give it a short descriptive label such as “Confucian Philosophy” or “Buddhism in India.”
