an active shooter event,
COVID 19,
- distrust in policing,
- civil unrest, and
- riots in Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, and other U.S. cities.
- Research one threat or event and draft a response that explains the following points.
- Describe the threat or event, how it occurred, and the outcome.
Examine the civil rights issues surrounding this event or threat.
Assess the United States’ response. Was it effective? Why, or why not?
- Describe how the United States can learn from this incident to mitigate future threats that may be similar.
