Example 2:

What is Quality?
Quality is providing a product or service in a way that is healthy for the project’s life cycle. It is important that a project is not only completed by completed in a way that promotes stability (Ruiz Díaz, 2020).  For example, in if a vendor was contractor was contacted to provide a working log in page for customers. A high quality product would ensure that the documentation for how it was created was provided and security protocols would be followed to ensure it meets standards. A low quality product would provide a log in page but send the username and password unprotected across the internet. Both provide the minimal effort but one is healthy for the project the other is a new risk concern.

Personal Quality
The above example is one I experienced on a project. We were tasked to make updates to a website and found that the vendor who created it did not hash, encrypt, or protect passwords that were being sent across the web. This was discovered while we were unit testing some other implementations.  As a part of a quality process whenever a change is made another member of the team would test the change. Our technique was make changes in a developer environment perform, unit testing,  migrate it to a test environment, a testing team from the customer would test it, then pending the results send to production or send it back to developer environment.  We were tracking the flow of information on a networking monitoring software and saw a password in plain text.  We immediately let the customer know about this risk and added it in the scope of the project with a change request.
