Preparation: Before beginning this assignment, you should read Chapters 1 and 4 from Berkowitz and watch the documentary, “Big Pharma: Market Failure”.
Purpose: This assignment is designed to introduce students to some of the policy implications and basic concepts of marketing in the healthcare sector.
Instructions: After reading Berkowitz, Chapters 1 and 4, and watching the documentary, “Big Pharma: Market Failure”, write a 2-3 page paper reflecting on what you learned. In addition to your own thoughts about the documentary, your reflection should also incorporate and apply content from the reading. Note, I am not asking you to simply summarize the documentary or what you read in Chapters 1 and 4. Rather, you should choose one or two concepts that you found interesting in the reading and discuss how they relate to the documentary. I am also looking for your personal understanding and reflection on the content in the documentary.
Formatting: Your paper should follow APA formatting guidelines- i.e., double-spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font, cover page, reference page.
